Group Equipment Items by Logical Work Areas. MaintSmart uses work areas (engineer areas) to group equipment . Each work area contains equipment maintained (PM'ed) by one individual. User friendly names are used in most places to describe a work area. By using these equipment groupings you are able to look at the performance of all the equipment under the control of one maintenance engineer. The reliability section of MaintSmart optionally analyzes all equipment in a work area as well. Additionally locating equipment is much simpler since it is narrowed down to smaller groups. Equipment may be freely moved from one area to another at any time. Don't need to group equipment by work area? No problem just add all equipment items to the same area and create one large group containing all the equipment. MaintSmart logically groups similar items making their component items easier to locate. |
